Michaela is a self-taught artist and passionate novelist, having written her first book by the age 13. She's participated in various local writing anthologies, art showcases, and poetry slams. When she isn't slaving away on her latest novel or art piece, she can be found hiding from civilization with the help of a book.

Growing up, I was always that weird, quiet girl that everyone wanted to work with when a class project involved art. Fewer people knew that my rampant desire to create expanded beyond the canvas. My desperation to tell a story and have it be heard would only burn fiercer with time.

I spent most of my adolescence in a realm of self-indulgence. Art was my weapon to unleash my inner ideas and thoughts upon the world. After I graduated high school, it was time to buckle down. I took commission work more seriously and refined my talents as a writer into something more pristine, worthy of publication. With a few small anthologies under my belt and almost a decade of creative writing, I embarked on a journey to have my work recognized. Today, I continue to pursue that journey.
